Why Your Story Matters

Mothers are too often expected to figure out breastfeeding on their own. You can help policy makers understand what mothers need in hospitals and in the community. By sharing your experiences, you can help us identify gaps and strengths in current support structures. Your insights will guide policymakers in creating lasting, accessible systems that truly support families' breastfeeding goals.

How to Participate

It's simple! Use your phone to record a short video (30 seconds or less) answering this important question:

  • What help from healthcare workers supported your breastfeeding, or what help did you wish for? This year's special focus: Tell us about interactions with lactation consultants, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare providers.

Creating Sustainable Change

Your voice will be shared as a part of a video during a special webinar celebrating World Breastfeeding Week in August 2025. By amplifying real experiences, we can advocate for systems-level changes that provide consistent, reliable support for all breastfeeding families.

Important Details

  • Record in the language you're most comfortable speaking
  • Keep your video to 30 seconds or less
  • Use our user-friendly platform to upload your recording
