Regulating the marketing of breastmilk substitutes

This model law incorporates the provisions of the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes (the Code) and the subsequent relevant resolutions of the World Health Assembly (WHA) including the Guidance on ending the inappropriate promotion of foods for infants and young children and elements of relevant Codex Alimentarius standards and guidelines.
